As Seen On

Global Mentorship Program
Starting your own commercial finance business is exciting, but it's natural to have questions once you leave the classroom and begin putting your training into practice. That's why your relationship with Global doesn't end when the four-day training is over.

During the program, you'll learn about commercial loan products, work with our lenders, develop your marketing strategy, and gain the knowledge you need to begin building your business. But we also know that some of the most important questions come later—when you're speaking with a prospective client, reviewing a transaction, preparing a submission, or trying to determine the best way to move a deal forward.

That's where the Global Mentorship Program comes in. Every graduate has access to ongoing mentorship designed to provide practical guidance as you develop your commercial finance business.

Ongoing Personal Mentorship
The Global Mentorship Program takes our one-on-one support beyond the classroom. The person who trains you transitions into your personal mentor after the training, so you're working with someone who already knows you, understands what you've learned, and is familiar with how you've been developing your business. You don't have to introduce yourself or explain your situation to someone new every time you need guidance.

Your mentor can assist you with transaction reviews, helping you evaluate a deal, identify information that may still be needed, and determine which participating lenders may be appropriate for the transaction. Instead of trying to figure everything out on your own, you have an experienced resource available to help you work through the process.

Mentorship also extends to working with prospective clients. If you're preparing for a meeting or aren't sure how to approach a conversation, your mentor can role-play different scenarios with you. Using real-world case studies, you'll practice asking the right questions, responding to objections, understanding a client's financing needs, and identifying lenders whose criteria may fit the transaction.

And sometimes the best way to learn is by watching someone with experience. If you're unsure how to handle a client call, your mentor can join the conversation with you. You'll have the opportunity to hear how the call is handled firsthand and build the confidence and experience to manage similar conversations on your own.

Think of it like learning to ride a bike. Training gives you the foundation, but mentorship gives you someone alongside you as you begin putting what you've learned into practice. As your experience grows, you'll need less assistance—but it's reassuring to know that guidance is still available when an unfamiliar situation or challenging transaction comes along.

The mentorship doesn't end after a few weeks or months. Even years after completing the Global Financial Training Program, you can reach out when you need guidance with a transaction, lender, client situation, or other aspect of your commercial finance business. That's the Global Promise: ongoing guidance and support as you build your business.
